rights???

I started a llc with a friend I am the registered agent and mananging member the other person is just the managing member things we not going right with the partner was not a trust full partner so i removed them as the managing member we never had any written doc signed and notarized saying we were buisness partners. did i do the wrong thing by removing the persons name?

If he was a member of the LLC then he has certain rights because of the membership. If you have no agreements about how the business will be run or how a membership can be terminated, then you mayhave a problem just "removing" the name.
