Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I run a small koozie business, and have decided to have a new design. You see I have an excess of Vera Bradley fabric from over the years, and wanted to cut it up and make it into appliques for the koozies. Is that legal to sell or does it infringe on Vera's ownership?

As a franchise attorney I recommend you look into the terms and conditions associated with your purchase of the fabric. That should answer your question. If there's a remaining doubt, contact the wholesaler or a representative of Vera Bradley to get their take. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
