Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Sale Balance
I sold my share of our corporation to my parther for 45,000. Our attorney wrote a letter on the paper with the copy of a check for 30,000 dollars, he signed and notarized the letter with my signature and my ex-partners signature. She agreed to pay me the remaining 15,000 by February 28, 2007. She sent me a letter saying she is not planning of paying the money plus if I bother her she will request to have her money back. Do I have a case?

Re: Sale Balance
If the agreement was for $45,000, and was not superceded by another agreement, particularly if it was in writing - yes.

Mr. Stewart and I agree that on these facts you do, but you should go over all the facts with an attorney to know more.
