Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Servi ce contract/agreement
I am making payments (personal check) to a auto service business person who is not cashing/depositing the checks. What action can I take to ensure that this doesn't come back to bite me? or get drawn from my account all at once from several months of checks?

Keep copies of what you have sent.
Sooner or later the check will go "stale" and the bank will not honot the check. Call you bank and see what their policy is.
Not cashing the check DOES NOT mean that you do not owe the company.
