Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I was set to get married on November 26, 2010 at Doubltree hotel. To make a long story short, I ended up wanting to postpone my wedding date and wanted to get some of my money back and apply it to the new date. I signed a contract with them and gave them $4,400 but I dated it incorrectly and put 02/22/1987 on all the dates. They didnt date it. Is my contract void?

An error such as date on a contract does not invalidate the agreement so long as there are other means to show the date or approximate date it was signed. Also, if both parties have taken actions to perform their responsibilities under the contract, it can be declared a valid agreement. No, an erroneous date in itself does not render a contract void.
