Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I SIGNED a contract to sell helicopters at the mall.the leasing woman did not tell me there was a store that also sells the same the thing.. i signed the contract before finding out and upon questioning she told me people dont walk into the store because of helicoptersbut for other things. consequently i couldnt compete with the store and went out of business.
was she supposed to tell me of the store selling that same goods before signing the contract?

No. If you had been concerned, you should have asked for an exclusive in your lease in the first place.
That is often why you need an attorney to help with leases.
