Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Small Claims Court
How do I start to take a person to Small Claims Court in the State of Florida? He live and operates in Jacksonville, I live in Tampa. I would like him to appear in Tampa (so I don't have to travel) The amount owed is $1050 plus a late fee (about one year over due)

Re: Small Claims Court
You need to file a small claims complaint with the 13th Judicial Circuit Court, Small Claims. The Clerk's office can probably give you some directions on how to file a small claim.

Visit your local county court website or law library and they usually have small claims forms you can download or copy.
