spliting a business

My brother and I were partners in a company and I decided he was to hard to work with. We hadn't gotten my name on the business yet, but everyone knows we were partners. What are my legal rights or what action can I take to get my 50% of the company?

It depends on the facts, for example whether you had set up a formal business entity or not. You should go over this with an attorney if you do not anticipate cooperation from your brother.
