Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I started a company and was 50/50 partners with a verbal agreement. We did business as partners for two years and then was told by partner that he was dissolving our partnership and I get nothing. I have very creditable witness's that will testify. Do I have a case?

You are going to need to contact an attorney and have a much more detailed conversation. Points of interest that your are going to want to be able to document and/or obtain witnesses for will be things like instances where your partner held you out as his partner, contracts you signed on behalf of the partnership, and access to the financial accounts of the partnership. Your verbal agreement may be wholly valid, but you will want to determine ways to demonstrate the acknowledgement by your partners as to the nature of your relationship and your involvement in the business.
