Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
state law v contract
I leased a car in Fl, garaged it there, insured it there. There was a 1/4'' chip on the passenger side windshield. Fl law says it can be repaired if it's smaller than a dollar bill, which e did when we turned the car in at the end of the lease. The lease company says they have to replace it per Ohio law and the lease contract was made in Ohio. Doesn't Fl law take precedence?

It probably will be decided by what's in the contract.
