Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Stolen bank card
I had my bank card stolen which is a debit/ATM master card.
Someone had put charges on it totaling the amonut of $580.00. The bank is going to put it back into my account. I have to sign an affidavit (spelling).
I found out where one of the purchases were made and the cashier/owner of the company never looked at the back of my card. Which I have ''ask for ID'' instead of my signature.
Should or can I presue the matter?

Re: Stolen bank card
If the bank is putting the money back into your account, there is no matter for you to pursue. Let the bank pursue it. In fact, the bank may have you sign a document assigning any rights you may have regarding such money to the bank so the bank will have standing (rights) to pursue any claim arising from the illegal use of the card.
Re: Stolen bank card
Let the bank worry about it.
