Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Is "suggested donation" on copyrighted products legal?
Let's say I'm making T-shirts or Jewelry to sell at a flea market. While some of those products have "free domain" or generic designs on them, others may have comic book,tv, or movie themed designs that are clearly copyrighted. Instead of "selling" copyrighted design themes, can I receive a "suggested donation" and avoid legal action?

I wouldn't try it. Regardless of what you are calling it, you are still making use of copyrighted material without permission.
