Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Travel agency
We bought tickets from Travel agency to our parents for US (from India) trip. Before getting the tickets we updated the name of my parents(They mis spelled) . We got the tickets and sent the tickets to our parents. They came to the airport(in india) on the date on the tickets. But Air India said they didn't find their names in the system. My parents felt so guilty and they left the airport.
Can we sue the travel agency?

If the travel agency committed an error in booking the tickets that prevented your parents from boarding the flight, they may have grounds to sue the agency or file a claim against their insurace. The problem you face is that they would have to be in the United States to do so and you said they are in India.
Alternatively, I would write to the customer service department of the airline and explain what happened. You might be able to resolve this matter with them amicably.

Re: Travel agency
Your contract with the travel agency probably has language limiting their liability in this type of situation. Look at the contract and see if you can negotiate something acceptable with them. If not, we might be able to get them to agree to a better deal.
