Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

Tuffy Auto Service Center (quoted for unnecessary services)

Recently, I went to a Tuffy Auto Service Center in Gainesville Fl for repairs to my car. I went in for a pulsation in my steering wheel due to front brakes. When I got to the Service Center they gave me a free brake inspection and unexpectedly came back to me with an estimate of $861 worth of repairs. They told me, amongst other things, that my calipers needed to be replaced (they showed me my caliper and told me ''what was wrong with it'' but I have no idea what a brake caliper is supposed to look like so I had no idea what I was looking at and could only agree with him), they told me that i needed new brakes lines because they ''seized up'' and were no longer firing, also that i needed new rotors and brake pads (they said that my rotors needed to be replaced because there was not enough material left to machine them). At Tuffy in Orlando Fl I was quoted for $320. They told me that my calipers were completely fine and that my rotors had more than enough material to be machined. They found nothing wrong with brake lines either. In the front, all they did was machine the rotors, and that eliminated the pulsation. I believe this could have been an issue of either race or greed. What legal action should I take for the matter?

None. You were smart enough to get a second opinion and, therefore, did not get ripped off. Had you been ripped off, you could have taken legal action.
