Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
undisclosed non-compete clause
I signed a contract with a Healthcare company to provide therapy services to children in a school system. My contract does not include a non-compete clause but I learned recently that the contract the healthcare company has with the school system( who pays the company for my services) did contain this non-compete clause. I never agreed or had any knowledge of this agreement until two weeks ago. I was not recruited by the healthcare company, I was referred to them by the school system because they were unable to contract me individually. My plan was to return to the school system as an employee for the next school year. How can I be bound by a contract that I wasn't privy to?
Thank you for your time.

Re: undisclosed non-compete clause
While you are not bound it would appear the school is. I would have to read the agreement.
