Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Valid cease & desist notice
I formed a DE LLC by the name of Tuono Capital Partners on 9/10/07. A formerly active FL corporation named TheTuono Corporation, which was dissolved by the ST of FL on 9/14, sent me a cease & desist notice on 9/26 declaring that I could not use the name registered wtih DE. Do they have an enforceable claim?

The chances are good that they do, if they get back into good standing and are still in business, but I'd need to know more to be certain.
