Can a website/forum be legally responsible in any way for member's illegal classified sales?
If a member sells illegal items into another city, state or to minors?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say the following. Despite carefully worded disclaims, the website can still be sued and may end up being liable. That's why eBay is so vigilant in enforcement activities that violate their terms of service. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
