Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I work for computer corporation. Our corporation has three shareholders. one shareholder who owns 48%, and another (Cary), who owns 4%. Cary contracts to sell his 4% to me but later refuses to transfer the shares to me. Can court grant specifit performance since I am the nonbreaching party? What are my options?? Can I be compensated for the breach of contract???

Specific performance is granted when there is no adequate remedy at law. If you own the other 48% and need his 4% for a majority, you should have a valid claim.
