Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
work contracts?
They company I work for is dissolving their corporation to get out of paying the seller they purchased the business from (at least this is what they are trying to do). Is the contract I signed with them void if they dissolve their LLC? Is it even legal for them to close an LLC to avoid upholding the contract with the seller?

Re: work contracts?
It depends on what kind of contract and the language of the contract whether it survives dissolution of the LLC. Whether it is legal for the LLC to dissolve for financial reasons cannot be answered "yes" or "no", and it is probably not your concern as the LLC's employee.
