My daughter was grabbed by the face by a member of her schools staff. I notified the school but no action was taken against this staff member. I then e-mailed the school superintendant but never recieved a reply. What should I or my daughter do to uphold her rights in this situation?

The staff member admitted guilt. There were also witness' . How can we get some satisfaction?

It really depends upon the specific facts of the situation including the facts surrounding the assault itself. Besides the circumstances surrounding the assault, it would depend on whether your child was physically harmed. I personally recommend that you hire an attorney to evaluate the situation.

Write a letter to the school board and the principal. It's not clear that you've got an actionable assault, but you can certainly file an assault complaint with your local police department.
