Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
I bought a scooter from this guy and tryed to test drive it on the street before I bought it, he said no. But I did get to test drive it @ his house. So I bought it and drove it down the street about a 1/2 mile and the scooter broke a belt and a disc inside that makes the scooter drive. So I took it back to him and told him I was recording the conversation that we had, and he told me if I took it to a mechanic that he would pay half the bill, which he would pay $150 out of the $300 that I had to pay. Well my question is do I have a Verbal Agreement and a case too take him to small claims court????

You have a verbal agreement, although there may be some issue of whether there was adequate consideration.
