Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

Someone called the police and said my son was suicidal. The police visited his place of employment looking for him, but he was on vacation. They inspected his work area. The following day they went to his apartment and put him in the back of a squad car and took him to a psychiatric facility. He sat there for four hours, spoke to someone for a few minutes, and then had to call a cab to get himself home. They would not give him information about who had called, and only referenced a blog he was writing on the internet about doing a life make-over. The officer made a comment about how he had referenced Buddhism, and said that maybe his problems would be solved if he believed in Christianity. What can we do?

What can you do about what? I'm not sure who or what you have a legal problem with.
