Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
My child 4 years old got a bottom rash so it hurt and she cried at school. The teacher did not know that and assum my child got sexual abuse and call police without asking me what was wrong with her. Is it elegal for not contact the parents first to find out?

No. It probably would have been better to call you, but even then, the school officials may have been required by law to report it to law enforcement if they reasonably believed that a child was sexually abused by the parent. However, if a school official or any other official is acting outside the scope of their professional duty or job, and has a personal issue with a parent and has falsely reported a crime, then criminal and civil cases could be the result.
