Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
Civil Rights
I pleaded no contest to the lowest level mistermeanor, it was a domestic violence charge. I have lost my right to own or purchase weapons or have a concealed weapons permit.
Question; Can I get those rights reenstated or the conviction vacated. I was not guilty, and I'm sure the Judge new it. The prosecuter was able to intimidate me into the plea with a threat of 6 months in jail.

Re: Civil Rights
It is possible after some passage of time. You are probably too late to withdraw your plea. If you were represented, your attorney should have explained the consequences of your plea. If you were not guilty and everyone knew it, you should not have pled guilty -- although you would have risked conviction.
