If a person has participated in a class action law and collected a very small amount and develops major problems, can the person file a lawsuit pertaining to the extensive and unexpected damage?

Re: Class Action Law

Generally not. The purpose of a class action is to end all lawsuits pertaining to the particular issue. So, if your unexpected problems are related to the lawsuit problems, then chances are you cannot bring a separate action. If the unexpected problems are entirely new and unrelated, you might have an argument. Check your class action settlement documents carefully to see exactly what was settled - then you can determine how to proceed.

Good luck.
