Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
Constitutionality of photographing clients
We have a financial advisory service and want to take pictures of our clients. The pictures will not be used for any purpose other than for our own internal files. The boss has a hard time putting faces with names. Is it alright to use a computer camera (or any other type of camera) to take these pictures. Must you have client consent? Thank you for your time and assistance.

Re: Constitutionality of photographing clients
Any person may take a photograph of any other person with permission. It is a bad idea both legally and business-wise to do so without the person's knowledge and consent. Photographs may not be used for commercial purposes[for profit] unless a model's release is obtained.
