Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

a convicted felon is filing a defamation of character suit against my son because he witnessed an auto accident that occurred on our property, three witnesses testified to police , the suspect was charged on two counts, the felony being assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, he spent over a year in jail. Now he is running a muck in Civil Court with lies and has obtained a 19,000 judgement against my son and his friend who's vehicle was badly damaged by a road rage incident. What kind of paperwork do I need to file in Civil Court to stop this idiot?

Your son would need to do something. Unless he is a child, you can't do anything. There is already a judgment against your son? Sounds like he failed to answer a complaint, which is a mistake, or that he has already been found at fault.
