Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

My cousin is sewing me for $400 that she claims she gave to me several yrs ago. I have no knowledge of ever borrowing money from her and I have helped her on many occassions with groceries and gas money ect. She claims it was $400 over time but this is just not true. I never signed any agreement or for that matter barrowed money from her. She is on disabilty and has very little money left after she pays her bills. She is financially in a whole and I feel that she is just trying to get money from me because I work and she thinks for some reason that I am loaded. Is this possible that she can do this and win even though I never got money from her? It sounds like a case of he say she say. help pls.

There is nothing to stoP her from taking you to court but it sounds like you have a good defense in court.
