Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

I have a coworker who is spreading lies secretly about me at work.Like that I am or was gay. That I have affairs, etc. Which obviously I am not! I am 40, married 13 years with 2 children, everyone knows this. The other girls come to me and tell me what she is saying. She has denied saying anything. This coworker of mine is mad at me and likes to stir stuff up, make people mad so they quit if she doesnt like them. What legal recourse do I have, if any? Defamation of character?
