Re: dog bites
In Florida, an owner of a dog is strictly liable for any injury his dog causes to another person. This means that you are entitled to recover for your medical bills, lost wages, permanent scarring and disability, and pain and suffering. You should consult with an attorney who is experienced in this area. In particular, you should look for an attorney who is board certified in civil trial law, as are the attorneys in our office. There are strict time limits to file these claims in court, so you should contact an attorney as soon as possible. We offer a free initial consultation and would be happy to discuss the case with you.
