Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
I was entitled to early term of probation but was denied and taken off reporting probation b/c final payment had not entered my account. I spent 28 days in jail with no bond 9 (34 total) b/c the final payment of my probation was embezzeld by my assigned P.O. The domestic charge was "null processed" and the VOP charge was dropped and I was taken off probation when I presented copies of the money orders to the court, that were made out to himself. I have made a statement to the I.G. office after they contacted me. Am I entitled to compensation for unecessary time spent in jail?
