Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

false information on my medical report

I attended a community college. I think I was subjective to racial discrimnation. I was reading my med reports one day it had all types of false information stating I had mental problems and suggest I get a mental evualation. A consellor for the college told my doctor all this. The doctor or nurse never told me anything about this call. I found this in my med report. What do I do about this. Can I sue the doctor office and school for false information.

Re: false information on my medical report

Nothing you have said indicates in any manner that there is any racial discrimination involved here. There is inaccurate information in medical records with some frequency. In any event, it does not appear that you have been harmed in any way. Finally, you may need a mental evaluation nased upon the information available to the person that so indicated. That does not mean that you have a mental problem, only that based upon the limited information availabloe to the counselor, that she or he believed that you would benefit from an evaluation. Perhaps you would.
