I feel threatened by my es-boyfriend who is saying he is going to show up with police, he is also harassing me daily through email. Can I and how do I file a restraining order?

You can go to the self-help center of any county court house and file for a restraining order if he has threatened you with bodily harm. If he is threatening to show up with the police, that won't qualify although you have not given enough facts to determine.
