Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

Filing a motion without counsel

I want to file for a motion for summary judgement based the plaintiffs not responding to a court ordered document. If I file a motion myself do I need to schedule a time with the judge or could he issue judgement based on the motion alone? If I have to schedule with the judge do I just get his schedule from the clerk of the court?

Re: Filing a motion without counsel

You need to call the judge's assistant and get 2 or 3 potential times, then call the plaintiffs and clear the time with them, then call the judge back to schedule it then send out a notice of hearing and mail it to the clerk and to the plaintiffs.
