Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
yes.. im furious!! i had a collection agency contact my MOTHER AND TOLD HER MY ENTIRE FINANCIAL INFORMATION... i do not live in the same house hold nor have i seen her in a while. I recieve a text on my phone from my mother telling me of what they told her. i immediatly called the company regarding my privacy violation. as i do know that every collection agency records the conversations for quality control, this call was no diffrent. as i know that the call was recorded i spoke to rep that was handling my account. I stated my concern and THEY BLEW ME COMPLETELY OFF!!! they demanded that i pay this debt or get on the program by 4pm today or they were going to garnish my wages through IRS. I said really ... i stated that my call was in regard of my PRIVACY VIOLATION THAT WAS COUGHT ON TAPE!! not my debt to your company. you can garnish whatever you want but my rights were violated. I even have them on tape stating that they spoke to CLARA ALFONSO AND IM CLARI ALFONSO pretty close but completely DIFFRENT SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS. I STATED THAT THEY WILL HEAR FROM MY LAWYER. I AM AN AMERICAN CITIZEN BORN AND RAISED . I KNOW MY LAWS AND I KNOW THEY WERE VIOLATED. TAPE RECORDINGS ARE AVAILABLE WHICH CLEARLY STATED THAT THEY CONTACTED MY MOTHER AND EXPLAINED MY FINANCIAL SITUATION. I HAVE THEM ON TAPE BLOWING ME OFF EVEN AFTER I STATED PRIVACY RIGHTS WERE VIOLATED. PLEASE HELP.
