Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

gun ownership

I am a 41 year old mail and I am considering purchasing a rifle and or a pistol. However back in 2003 I was convicted guilty of a misdemeanor domestic battery. Then in 2005 I was arrested and charged with felony DWLS HTO but I had ADJUDICATION WITHHELD so I was never convicted guilty of a felony.. My question is this...am I going to have a problem when I try to purchase a gun. Im not technically a convicted felon but the domestic battery charge has me concrened.
