Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

I have a strong personal opinion here. I would rather have my civil rights stripped at the airport, my physical person patted down, my purse emptied, and my baggage searched than the alternative which is the shady looking fellow 10 people behind me in line doesn't get searched, and he's the one carrying the bomb. It's a trade-off for safety, as I see it.

If you are really that opposed to your civil rights being violated in this manner, don't fly. Take a car or a bus or a boat.

You do not have a protected right to board an airplane. To do so, you must comply with the safety regulations in place for your protection and the protection of others. It is annoying, and personally I would rather have a pat down then go through the machine that allows the agent to see every inch of my body. As my colleague puts it, it is a trade - off, and it is annoying. Since I want to get where I'm going safely and quickly, I will go along with it because I have nothing to hide and I want them to catch the ones that do. You decide. If you don't like it, you can use another method of transportation.
