What photographs are you referring to? No one is permitted to use your likeness for commercial purposes without your knowledge/permission under privacy rights. But, photos of persons in public places are not controlled by "privacy rights" which is why the paparazzi chase celebrities around. Schools are not public places though. If someone at your school is forcing you to permit them to photograph you, other than for valid security reasons, such as a school ID card, then you have a right to be concerned. Where photographing students has some sort of rational basis for security and student safety, (such as keeping non-students out of the building), then it is probably a valid requirement. Unless there is something totally weird about some other aspect of the photography involved (in a bathroom, or locker room for instance), you are not required to have your photo taken for a "year book" publication, or for any other non-security reason.
