Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
if a lawyer is under investigation by police does that lawyer have to tell his clients.

A lawyer has to tell his clients if he has been suspended from the practice of law or disbarred. He does not have to tell his clients about an investigation which has not yet resulted in a charge. In America, people are viewed as innocent until proven guilty.
