Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
Motion to vacate
Where do I file the motion to vacate
a judgment? The original judgment
was from the circuit court 18th
county of brevard in Florida. Do I file
it with the same court or does it go
to a higher court? Where do I file
the appeal to the judgment?

Re: Motion to vacate
I'm not a FL attorney. Generally, one would file a motion to vacate the judgment in the same court in which a judgment is entered.
An appeal, on the other hand, would follow FL procedures, with which I am not familiar. In CA, one files the notice of appeal in the trial court. I am sure that like CA, FL has time limits for doing so, so consult with -- or repost for -- a FL attorney immediately.
