Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
Has my privatecy been violated
I have been harrased by a person that lives acroos the street.
Harassment started within days of moving in ( almost 2 yr ago )
Form of harassement : many times, the sheriff's office has responded to complaints by this person.
Complains span from Threats on that person, dealing drugs ( lead to 'knock & search' ; nothing found), attempted B&E, etc.
I am on probation, felony ajudication with-held.
( got drunk in public place, sprayed with tear-stuff, coughed-up on Police officer )
Probation started April 2001; offense commited October 2000.
The complaintant called my PO 3 days after being place on probation.
Complaintant continues calls to PO and State's Attorney's office : allegation ''Domestic Abuse''.
Now I am spending large sums of money for defense.
( could become VOP )
have been trying to move for months . . .
Question : What information and lawyer type ( civil ? )do I need to recover, from the complaintant, these legal fees.
I'm not a vendictive person; don't want to harm that person.
Just want to move and get my legal fees back !

You should consult with your criminal defense attorney and have him advise you as to whether civil cases should be filed.
