Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
Are you required by law to carry an identification card?
(I'm in bicycle)
Why was I taken to jail ? ? ?
I gave him my name and my address, but I did not have my I.D.
He said to me ( don't you know you have to carry your I.D.) ? ? ?
Now I have to go to court and defend myself aginst an out of control officer ! !

Did you do something wrong? Defend yourself against what - What were the charges? I do not think you could or should be arrested solely because you do not have ID. I recommend that you contact a criminal defense attorney.
