Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
I am not really sure what section of law this pertains to. My boyfriend owned a pastry company. He needed to buy more equipement and was bringing in a partner to help out with the costs. The partner told him that he had to sign over 50% of the compnay so he was able to obtain the loans for the equipement. The next day my boyfriend comes into work a sherriff hands him a piece of paper trespassing him of his own property. The partner continued the business for a small time, but my boyfriend has such a loyal following the business failed. His credit is now ruined. I am wondering if there is some way he could sue this man for conning him out of his bisiness as well as the mental stress and axieity this man put him through?

Which type of business entity was used for the pastry company? Was there an operating agreement? Your husband should probably consult with a business attorney.
