Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

Please help my son

My son is 4 years old. I have joint custody and my ex is primary residential parent. I have been back to court and she was found in contempt for speaking badly of me to my son, denial of visitation, denial of first right of rufusal and making unilateral decisions. Her family is rich and going to court means nothing to her. I have no more money to take things to court. My son cry's and beggs me not to take him to her house even hiding in the bedroom when it's time. Says mummy hurts me,I don't like my mummy,I'm gonna kill mommy, mummy dosen't love me and so on. He has had 4 black eyes in the last year. When I ask him to say hi to her on the phone he cries and covers his ears. When I speak to him on the phone the first thing he ask is will you come and get me. Please help my son before all this takes a toll on him. I am a good man and love my son very much. Without money it seems like I can't help him and it hurts me so much to see these things. I don't want to see him cry any more. Thanks so much, Scott

Re: Please help my son

File a motion with the court to get your son into therapy NOW with someone who has practice working with your judge. Call legal services; ask your friend of the court (child support) department anonymously to give you references for child psychologists who have respect from the court.

If he is being beaten, he needs to tell someone other than you, someone who can persuade the court that it is dangerous for him to be with his mother. Someone who is required to file a report with child protective services.

You may not have a lot of money, but you'll have ot spend some of it to protect your kid.

Since she has lots of money, get the court to require her to pay for it.
