Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
My son's father and I got into a fist fight a week ago. Resulting in my arrest for simple battery. We are currently in mediation for time-sharing. He has stated to me that he will call the DA and ask that my charges be dropped if I agree to 50/50 time-sharing and relieve him of the responsibility of child-support. Is this coercion, blackmail, extortion?

You need to hire an aggressive criminal defense attorney in your area. This sounds like duress as well as the other things you have mentioned. You also need to consult with your divorce attorney about what is going on.
