Re: Tenants and Foreclosure

You are being "sued" because you have an interest in the property. You are a tenant. The foreclosurew will eventually foreclose your interest. It is usually nothing to worry about. You need to keep making your payments as required under the contract or you can be evicted. You can file an answer just admitting, denying or stating without knowledge to the paragraphs and you will then get notice of what is going on. Your only interest would be in knowing if the property is finally foreclosed and when the property will be sold. On the sale date, your lease may be affected. You can contact the plaintiff. They usually like having tenants in the condo because it provides a source of revenue when the foreclosure is finished.
