Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

Voice Activated Video & Audio Recording by Neighbor

I live in a condo and recently we have discovered that our neighbor has installed several video cameras that are voice activated. Not only can she video everything we do, but she can also hear and record everything we say even if we are standing inside our own patio or in our condo with windows or doors open. Is this not an invasion of privacy and can anything be legally done about this. Several other neighbors have lodged complaints with our association as well.

Her trespassing on your property with high-tech listening devices is legally impermissible. As with your other rights, however, you will have to enforce them. It is doubtful someone else will do that for you. It would be good if the association would put an end to it, but don't hold your breath. Check with a local PI or criminal attorney in your town to discover what you can legally do to stop the intrusion.
