privacy issues with use of web cams in internet advertising

Can a private resort facility use web cam images of areas within the facility that may have guests within the images without disclosing that the web cams are being used and without requiring authorization from those guests to use their images in advertising?

If you are broadcasting web cam overviews of different areas of the resort you should have no problem. I would notify and make it known that their are web cams and that they can always see their favorite resort, or their friends can, on the web. I would not use close ups or specific photos of individuals. You could get into a problem if you use such in your advertisements.
