Re-instatement of my rights
How do I go about applying for re-instatement of my rights to vote and to bare arms after being convicted of a felon. It has been three years with no new arrest and no violent charges

Re: Re-instatement of my rights
There are two methods by which a convicted felon may apply for restoration of civil rights: a pardon by the governor of the state of conviction, and a pardon by the president of the United States. The offices of either will provide you with application forms.
