Legal Question in Construction Law in Florida
I was having an add on built on my home, but stopped construction when funds got low. Can I be sued for not completing the build?

As long as you paid for the work and material supplied on your home up to the point you stopped the project you should not have much to worry about. Some contractors try to sue for not completing the contract but it is hard to show damages unless they took out a bond on the project.
